I'd say these guys would be absorbed by the new club

    - Jimmy Toumpas
    - Jack Viney
    - Jack Grimes
    - James Frawley
    - Jack Trengrove
    - Jesse Hogan
    - Mitch Clark
    - Nathan Jones
    - Jeremy Howe
    - Jack Watts
    - James Magner
    - Luke Tapscott

    Last two just scrape in

Whereas guys like this would probably get delisted but picked up elsewhere

    - Colin Sylvia
    - Chris Dawes
    - Mark Jamar

Terlich looked alright on Saturday night. Got thrown in the deep end for his first game.

    I reckon he'll be a good player.

Mature ager so he should be alright, but tough to talk about his future after one outing.

    Also, is Magner injured?

  8. TFLUA-Tiger TT Tiger

    Jones
    Watts
    Viney
    Toumpas
    Frawley
    Trengove
    Clark
    Garland
    McDonald
    Grimes
    Barry
    Kent
    Davey
    Howe
    Hogan

    For mine.

Davey offers excellent value as a cherry on top goal sneak, and I like Garland.

Dom Barry and Dean Kent will be good players.

Clubs would take one of Gawn or Jamar, and probably a couple of Blease, Terlich, Dawes and Pedersen.

They won't merge with another AFL club as there's not one to merge with. I'll just post what I think they should do in terms of list management

    Would stick with Melbourne
    Jones
    Watts
    Toumpas
    Jones
    Frawley
    Dawes
    Trengove
    Clark
    McKenzie
    Blease
    McDonald
    Grimes
    Barry
    Kent
    Tapscott
    Howe
    Jamar
    Fitzpatrick
    Terlich
    Jones
    Stark
    Clisby

AFL standard/potential'd but need to be delisted/traded as part of a squad & image cleanout
    Sylvia
    Strauss
    Garland

    Nicholson
    Gillies
    Davey
    Gawn

Lynden Dunn is the shittest cunt.

    Hogan too.

Fitzpatrick and Gawn look like they might be something, they're worth keeping on to as developing KPPs. Barry + Kent have the advantage of age and look lively while Clisby's a very good player and Stark looks alright too. Terlich has the advantage of unprovenness + he looks a good player & Tapscott's got a lot to work with. McKenzie's a good tagger and tackler, every club would like him listed IMO.

The ones in the second group either hinder the clubs image, seem to have a bad attitude or aren't getting the best out of the Demons and would be better elsewhere. Davey just doesn't look like he's a Demon; the environment seems toxic for him.

  12. Skippos SM Morgan

Rookie listed & can't get up iirc.

  13. Harps ZAF MacDonald

Davey is the sort of player that would look good in a top side.

  14. MatthewJay TA Miokovic

I'd play. Not the most skilled but actually gives 100% as he's playing for his career.

Is Strauss the bloke who broke his leg having a kick with mates?

  15. MatthewJay TA Miokovic

    Too old now.

  16. Skippos SM Morgan

    Blease.

Pretty sure it was Matt Scott (who was picked up during the rookie draft that year) who did it too

  17. Harps ZAF MacDonald

Nah, he broke it in a marking contest against Collingwood.

  18. MatthewJay TA Miokovic

Almost as bad as David Gourdis cracking Riewoldt's rib last year.
