I thought about him, and I do think he's a bit of a cock a lot of the time, but I'm glad that he's playing pro rugby, because the game is better for him. When he plays, matches are more enjoyable to watch, whether he plays well, or badly...there are more tries.
He epitomises what is going wrong with rugby these days. He's not particularly skillful, he's just a gym monkey that has become an absolutely freakish athlete.
Everything about him just annoys me. Similar to Burger. He has stupid hair, and he made lots of stupid mistakes, and kicked a lot. He seemed like a bit of a cock when I played against him at sevens, and from the sounds of it his attitude problems stayed with him into his pro career - he rates himself as a lot better than he actually is. Also he bottles tackles. Respect to him for going down under though.
Cips at our club this year was first class. I was playing U20's and I had mates in first grade playing with him and my brother was playing 2nds and everyone kept saying how down to earth he was and not arrogant at all. Even came up to us young boys when we were out on a Saturday night and said hey. Definitely gets undeserved treatment from the media.
