    He was in the end.

    If he didnt hand ball that, it was in and Ghana would prob have won...he handballed it...they missed the penalty......and the rest is history.

    Took one for the team.

    I used to get so dirty on players for diving..but it is so much apart of the game now...

    Sure, he's a hero to Uruguay, but to the rest of the world, he's a cunt. A lot of people say that it's a natural reaction, which I can accept, but his attitude after it shows that even in calm conditions, he would still have done it. In modern sport, there's so much gamesmanship that I don't really care about it, but when people do these things and then act like a hero, it just pisses me off.

    I used to take the moral high ground but after playing club hockey at even a really low level, the natural desire to win overrode my morals.

    Apparently I'm one of the "dirtiest" players in terms of gamesmanship most of my team-mates have played with. >_>
