    Code:
    FB:	T. Jonas R. Thompson R. Laird
    HB:	B. Reilly A. Rance H. Hartlett
    C:	J. MacRae L. Ball T. Rockliff
    HF:	M. Wright J. Westhoff D. Swallow
    FF:	T.T. Lynch J. Daniher J. Watts
    R:	N. Naitanui N. Fyfe L. Neale
    IC:	T. Curren R. Henderson T. Mitchell
    SUB:	A. Mullett

    IN: J. Daniher, M. Wright, R. Laird, T. Curren, A. Mullett
OUT: C. Sylvia, R. Sloane, B. Ebert, C. Dawes (Inj.), L. Whitfield (Omit)

    Inj:
    C. Sylvia - 2 wks
    R. Sloane - 2 wks
    C. Dawes - 2 wks
    B. Ebert - 1 wk
    L. Henderson - 1 wk

    Omit:
    L. Whitfield
    J. Hogan
    A. Siposs
    D. Simpson
    T. Hickey
    M. Grigg
    M. Shaw

    Tactics:
    - Thompson to Pods, Rance to Kennedy, Jonas to take resting ruck. If mismatch occurs switch/move Watts/Westhoff back
    - Reilly to 1st small, Laird to take 2nd
    - Sub Whitfield in for one the weakest players which fits into the rotation
    - All midfielders rest on Swallow's HFF
    - Curren tagger. If that fails, Wright tagger. If he tags use that flank as a mid rotation too. Mitchell to be a part of the midfield rotation
    - Change forward 6 and centre square as often as possible
    - Westhoff, Thompson and Daniher to form a ruck relief. Thompson to do it if he isn't needed down back/Henderson or Watts to cover, if he is then whichever of the Hoff and Daniher are doing worse fwd. Naitanui to ruck as much as possible though
    - If leaking/the match situation seems like it requires it move Watts into a loose man. If he struggles use Rance
    - Hartlett to play looser

    CPL MVP:

5 - Rockliff: Was the best on ground
4 - Ryan Crowley: Completely shut Fyfe down - 5 touches in 3 qtrs. Fyfe went to FF in the last though and junked it up which helped his stats (and Rockliff got 10 in Crowley in the last. Doesn't cancel out what Crowley did to Fyfe)
3 - Luke Ball: Outside Rocky/Crowley impossible to give votes really. Lots of good players. Ball was pretty good
2 - Jack Watts: 18 touches and 3 goals. Floated in and out though and kicked 2 of his goals when Hombsch was off the field and he had a smaller opponent
1 - Trent Cotchin: Just did everything well all day

    Jack Watts is overpowered.

Jack Watts if not at Melbourne would be a pretty reasonable footballer IMO. CPL aims to take the situation out of the player. One of his goals was an out the back special mind, the other he just outmarked Tuohy when Hombsch was covering Grima taking a spell and I can't remember the other but I think it was on Hombsch.

Consider what Spencer White was doing before calling Watts OP lol

Spencer White isn't doing it week after week though.

to be fair Jack Watts has been the 4th tall in my forward line most weeks. You put any 196cm forward (I can't really code him being a squib into the sim, unfortunately) on the 4th tallest defender and in most cases it wouldn't end well.

And re: White he's played 6 games and in 5 of those 6 he's scored +70 DT points. I wouldn't expect White to score more than 70 DT points in a game right now at all. 1/15 times tops. He was a project selection who's yet to play an AFL game because he's not ready/hasn't done much at VFL level. He averages 80 DT points (it's easier than remembering all individual stats, so he's contributing in some regard each game) across 6 games - which, especially considering that the statistical output in this is about 10-15% lower than IRL, is near elite for a FF.

Overperformer of the season IMO. Watts top 10 though, I agree there.
