    We should have had at least 1 mislynch though. 2 people telling their tales (Baxter, notsure) is always stronger than 1 (bedsey). If mafia only have to fool us once all they have to do is get all their members to collaborate stories and we're done instantly, which is exactly what they did. Wasn't shit town play or great mafia play tbh. We had notsure and Baxter nailed at the cost of only one misynch, which is the only reason I lynched Bedz because 2 people we're against him.

    With 14 participating in the game wouldn't you assume there'd be at least 4 maf members?

    After uppercut, I assumed there were 3 left. I thought town would figure it's mylo situation.

    And a serial killer? Plus many of our roles aren't actually that useful, psychiatrist, lovers etc.

    obviously im slightly salty but that's due to to amount of effort I put into the game: ~50 posts. The odds were stacked against us and we didn't even play badly. We lynched a mafia and a killer in the first two days... Only way mafia outplayed us and putting all their memeber on the line because they only needed one mislynch to win. We'd win this game 10-20% of the time max.

    I'm gonna stop posting now.

    Nah it was definitely mafia sided. Howe getting lynched so early without taking out any members of the mafia was a bit dire for town too. A few other things worked against town.

    That last day was definitely poor town play though.

    Part of the reason you nailed us was because we decided to go for it. If forcing a mislynch didn't make us win then we would have just let Baxter die.

    From a mafia perspective, it seemed town played a poor game even if things were stacked against them. Baxter had hardly posted at all and then made up some story only when he was put under pressure. I didn't even bother to defend him at the time because I thought his story would be seen right through. When people connected Heath to Baxter, it forced me to go for it. Me, Heath and Baxter were at one stage the only 3 members who weren't accused of being mafia. Then Farhat accused us and he got killed that very night. Speirz targeting Bedsey was a big mistake.

    Yeah, it wasn't great play. We knew we were in a mislynch and win situation - Id hoped it was enough when myself, Speirz and Downes were all on Bedsey so Heath and NotSure could just jump on and hammer. But neither of them did and so I had to go a little bit harder for it once Downes unlynched as I knew Id be gone the next day and Heath after that so it became a win today or probably lose when NotSure finds himself in a 1/5 situation.

    Was as a little hamfisted but Shiv's posting after the fact is dire, especially as he's not even making sense

    I didn't realise casually OMGUS'ing someone, causing an evenly split vote, and then bugging off for a day when you have info. on them is routine play for you

    Apologies for having a life.

    ive already explained why I didn't just flat out accuse Bedsey - I only 'tracked' him to Downes, so there were a host of possibilities that could've meant he wasn't the hooker. It's just better town play to give someone you're accusing as much rope to hang themselves with as possible. If he was Mafia then by revealing as little as possible then I could've tripped him up had he denied visiting Downes for example. Once that information is outed he can incorporate it into his claim.

    I don't get why you're saying that Bedsey had no incentive to counter claim when it turns out a fake claim won it for the Mafia.

    Except you didn't poke at his claim/actions until the next day, you literally said "I've done fuck all, anyway vote Bedsey" with the majority of votes on you

    I'm sorry but I don't think a townie would let themselves be potentially lynched while withholding info. on the person they're voting

    I had 2/3 votes on me? It's not like I was on the verge of a hammer and wouldnt be offered a chance to defend myself.

    there was basicaly no concrete pressure - you were probably the most suspect of me and never even bothered to properly question me ffs

    My role was useless once the only third party died as well. No reports coming in meant all I had to do was try to lead town blind, and all the little holes in what Bedsey was saying, combined with the fact I thought we had a mislynch, meant that I didn't really focus on Baxter the way I should have. I could've stayed quiet and not revealed my role as well, but having left plenty of clues to what I was there was no surprise when mafia figured it out.
