    This does my head in.

Last Sunday, Melbourne played Newcastle. Who cares, it's a nothing game.
Today we had Melbourne play Parramatta. They finalised the draw about 6 weeks ago - why is any Parramatta game on television?

Next Saturday there's Manly Vs Melbourne at Brookvale - pretty much game of the year, yet neglected by channel 9 in favour of the Broncos Vs Newcastle, Tigers and Rabbits & Chooks Vs Titans. All unmissable viewing, I'm sure you'll agree.

Last Channel 9 game of the year is Parramatta Vs Newcastle. Possibly the most boring match up of the season.

    It's definitely corrupt.

Indeed. It's corrupted by their desire to make money and fulfill their previous agreements. I don't think they'd consider that corrupt per se though.

And what exactly is their 'previous agreements'?

Originally, their policy was to air the two best match ups every week. Last season they scrapped their 'policy' and aired whatever matches were going to draw the highest viewership.

No-one can tell me that the matches they've been airing this season could possibly be the highest rating of the round. It's absurd. They're either retarded or corrupt.

Corrupt for what purposes? In what way would they make money off intentionally tanking their program slots?

The Broncos/Knights game will draw far more viewers especially with Bennett returning to Brisbane and all that jazz. So would the Souths/Tigers game IMO. Manly and Melbourne are not popular teams by any stretch.

Who gives a fuck about Bennett returning to Brisbane anymore? He's been gone for a while now, it's not the first, or even the second time this has happened.

You know what they're like. They always build it up.
