PG C. Laing SG James SG Thornton SG Morgan SG Smink PF S. Laing PF McDougal PF Vimes C du Toit Yo Yo. Perhaps?: PG: CLaing SG: James SF: Morgan PF: McDougal C: Du Toit maybe me @SG, Vimes/McDougal SF, the other PF and James on the bench might work too.
Weighted to 36 minutes I wouldn't read *too* much into this as a lot of the lesser minuted guys are playing 100% of the game on fresh legs virtually while the bigger minutes have to deal with fatigue & also play on the starters a bit more. But it's definitely good as a small comparative tool. I'm not worrying about Thornto or Sminky for now. They're not in positions that we'd ever use them for anyway
For the selector: Given that I'm by far the most solid of the guards I reckon I should probably play forward. If I were selecting I'd most definitely have played myself off the bench if we had good guards anyway not because I'm a worse player but because Callum and I are very similar - weak on the shot but good with the hands. Actually, I'd probably have played over Callum and just played point given over half my stats are from playing at point so the sample's diluted from that and I > him considerably on stats. Tart should probably start at SG given he's a much better shooter, which, with Callum or I playing is necessary; both of us would have been a liability. I'd probably think PG: Laing (32) SG: James (33) SF: Morgan (35) PF: McDougal (34) C: Vimes (28) S1: Du Toit (26) S2: Laing (12) - Morgan backup guard minutes - McDougal backup SF minutes - Laing & Vimes backup PF minutes So it'd probably go something like this PG: Laing (32), Morgan (8) SG: James (33), Morgan (7) SF: Morgan (20), McDougal (20) PF: McDougal (14), Vimes (14), Laing (12) C: Vimes (14), Du Toit (26) or something like that. It might be wiser to run with Vimes from the bench though, perhaps? How would that look, Mousey?
(In truth I'm just using Celtic Provinces to develop them for when we have an SA team. But don't tell Skippos)
