    Right I've discovered a serious, serious problem with the series and it's really starting to piss me off now.

    The word "frack". Stop saying it. It sounds dumb. If you don't want to swear, don't swear ffs.

    That's your only problem with the series? how about why do the civilians with only a couple of changes of clothes last months without the clothes wearing out or getting torn or having food stains.

    Or why are there journalists with tv cameras running around interviewing people instead of mucking in and working on the mining ship or the water cleansing ship.

    I like "Frack". Changes to language are pretty natural.

    Firefly does this much much much better though.

    Yeah in Firefly they had half a dozen words and bits of Chinese, making it feel more 'evolved'. Frack is just an obvious euphemism, breaks the dialogue by taking you out of it for a moment while you think about why he said frack and not fuck.
