    FTFY :ninja:

  2. Alex AJ O'Driscoll

    Very happy with that Pele.

  3. mouse MJ Edwards

Second thoughts, put me at the end of the draft. I'll just pick favourite players

Not too sure if Puskas is really a first round pick but Maradona, Pele and Cruyff :(

  5. Arheiner SIA Yates

Nah, Puskas is pretty legit IMO. Maybe a bit early in the first round but I'd have been happy to take him down the bottom, nothing wrong with that.

Can i pick yet if not who do i pm?

  7. Lukic L Popovic

Speirz has been online so technically you can.

Yeah you can pick. I'd appreciate Lukic waiting a couple of hours on his pick after though, if at all possible. Of course you can just ignore me if you like though.

Top pick from Ben. Was expecting to pick up Franz myself as I thought Cruyff/Pele/Maradona would all be gone by my pick.

  10. Himannv LV Himann

Der Kaiser is an awesome pick. Was considering picking him myself but was swayed by Messi in the end largely because I expected him to be picked before my turn was up.

Cheers boys. Couldn't pass on not only one of the most revoultionary players in terms of changinh how a position played but also one of the great leaders.

  12. Weeman27bob BE Force

Interesting choice as to where to play Beckenbauer, because the position he played doesn't really exist anymore does it?

  13. Benny BS Read

    Defensive general

  14. Himannv LV Himann

The offside rule makes it a bit tricky to have a sweeper, but there isn't really any reason why he can't play as a standard CB. He's quite an attacking player so he'd probably fit in a number of other positions as well.

  15. Baxter MJ Deane

3 at the back has had a huge renaissance in recent times with one of the 3 usually operating as somewhat of a Libero. At times in Euro 2012 De Rossi operated as Italy's deepest player. Greece used it to great effect in 2004.

Besides, he could just play as a CB without too much issue, or there's the fact he began his career as a midfielder so maybe a midfield-sweeping role as opposed to a defence-sweeping role might work?

Definitely a range of positions he could play, just a bit more of a choice than some of the other players selected so far.

Yeah thoughts of others mirror mine especially baxter.

CDM OR CB depending on my squad really

Yeah he's pretty much the perfect central CB in a back three. Also the best CB of all-time - not sure I'd want to push him further forward than that though given the lack of true defensive greats.

Di Stefano is a great pick. was my backup if beckenbauer went.

  20. Arheiner SIA Yates

Fully expect the legitimacy of that pick to be questioned. Don't really care though, I'll draft what I like.
