    Geelong face an uphill start to the 2013 season with it being revealed that they will start with 3 six day breaks in the first 4 rounds which includes a travel to Sydney to face the reigning premiers in Round 4.

    They'll play Hawthorn (MCG) on Easter Monday, North Melbourne (Etihad) on Sunday, Carlton (Etihad) on Saturday & Sydney (SCG) on Friday Night.

    They will also not play at their home ground, Simonds Stadium until Round 10. Their draw has had to be tinkered with as their home ground will not be suitable until the lights and new grandstand have been put in place.

    They'll play their first game at Simonds Stadium against the Gold Coast Suns on a Saturday night in Round 10.

    The compromised draw means that Geelong will play 7 of the remaining 13 games after Simonds Stadium is ready, at the ground.

    They will also travel interstate 6 times in 2013.
