wut. Christensen and Johnson are both genuine midfielders and Motlop plays a lot of wing. If that's a reason why Melbourne are beating Geelong I think something is wrong. If its why Trengove and Sylvia dominated, that makes sense though.
Yeah it was more the latter, lack of accountability. I'm a massive fan of midfielders being able to defend and be accountable and by design it shows through in this. It's fine to have 1-2 perhaps but not three guys who collectively are following the ball at all times. The gap between the good and the bad is too small, anyway. It's like 81.5-78.5 but it probably needs to be 82-76 or something so I think i'll just -2 every melbourne player or something.
