Mate it was sloppy as fuck, skill level was pretty low with plenty of errors and missed tackles but made for a tight contest all based on scramble defence and moments we don't get enough of it in the current state of the game.

The two worst teams in the comp for lying in the ruck so they cancelled each other out.

 

For sure, especially when they carry a dummy half and a utility back on the bench.

Really not a fan of Melbourne losing both and then Penrith not pulling Cleary off for a HIA with 12 minutes to go when it was clear he was staggering and on the ropes. Shoots to bits the Penrith medical staffs claims of "player welfare" from the week before.

Just proves the decisions to take someone off for HIA assessments need to be left to an independent doctor and taken out of the hands of the club.

Yep I like the captains challenge but needs some refining.

That wasn't a successful challenge and I'm not even a fan of them looking at everything in the play, should just be looking at just what the captain is challenging.

 

Just me or has Papenhuyzen looked timid since returning from his long lay off due to concussion. Understandably so but I always thought it was a massive call to bring him in for Nico Hynes who was firing at the time.

 

Love the fact the first 20/40 in the history of the game wasn't even intended and no one knew it was even on until the refs called it.
