Creagh has never been anything but useless in origin, its a mystery how he keeps making it in. That said he was better than uate and merrin.
Yeah he's catted it yet again, 2 hit ups in 28 minutes of footy. Although I think that he was on during the multiple drop outs stage of the game
Inglis to fullback obv. Boyd is useless. Hope it's either Nielson in the centres and Tate stays on the wing, or O'Neill getting a debut, and Tate moves into the centres.
Matt Gillett - 46 mins, 4 runs for 21m. That's a Ben Creagh like performance. Not sure what his role is, but it sounds like it's just "make up the numbers" so far.
Barba in the front line would be horrible. Imagine if he got stationed on the same side as Hodges. Unless you mean at fullback fo Slater.
Hmmm I dunno I honestly believe if Slater wasn't in the picture at all they would have given the try. IMO the doubt only came from slater coming across and knocking it dead.
Slater clearly had one of his shitter games, but good on him for not wanting to let the team down and playing on with a fairly serious injury. Not something you'd see from a NSWhaler like Cooper or Lyon...or anyone else in their side.
mmmmhmmm, Greg Bird confirmed 2 cracked ribs, out for 4-6 weeks http://www.nrl.com/origin#bird_grounded_with_rib_injury1343#
If Slater wasn't there it's a different story imo, takes a bit of pressure off Carney trying to ground the ball.
Broken bones are nothing, Lockyer played on with a fractured eye socket, I drove a manual home then to the hospital with a broken left wrist. Easy as pie.
