On first break. 2274 left, I've got 4.6 chips, ranked 1534rd. Need to increase my stack this session.
On the 3rd break. Have 32k chips. Ranked 148/429. Top 72 progress etc. Not looking likely tbh. It will take a long time to get there. Don't wanna stay up past 3 tbh, going to a wedding tomorrow. If I'm close I'll stay up for a bit longer though.
In the top 273 atm. Wanna hurry up and have these ****s get knocked out so I can go to bed. I'm definitely poker obsessed now.
On another break. Been going for 3 hours now. 63/179, 69k chips. Antes/blinds killing me atm, haven't had a decent hand for yonks.
Made top 72. So, Sunday night @ 12 I have a shot @ a share of 2k on Stars, then at 5:40am, on Full Tilt I'm trying my hand at a share of 1k. Not likely to get anything on either, not likely to survive the allnighter properly either though.
Far too much variance in freerolls. Although Full Tilt's national freerolls were/are good. Playing against the same hundred or so people everyday means you can take notes on playing style and use that to your advantage. But in the end you're using so much time on winning only a few dollars at best, and with mirco-stakes having lots of lags you're going to struggle big time making a bankroll.
I downloaded full tilt yesterday. Did some late entry thing. I won a lot and got bored and went all in on pocket 4's and lost.
Doing 2 on Pokerstars, 1 on Full tilt and 1 on Party poker. Best chance I have at advancing is the 1 on Pokerstars
Good luck Chris mate, Jake's already qualified for it I believe. I'm qualified on Full Tilt Poker for the one on Monday morning @ 5:40am with a $1000 prize pool but haven't qualified for the one on PokerStars with the $2000 prize pool. Won $4 on the Australian freeroll by finishing 7th out of 1.3K people but it was a tough haul. Currently I'm in one of the PokerStars freeroll qualifiers, trying to qualify for the same one you are about to qualify for (Chris) and the one that Jake has made. It starts at midnight so I better hope I make top 72 before that time, if I even make it at all. 3 minutes away from the first break and I'm on $5,081 from an inital $1,500. A decent start but I'm definitely hoping for a lot better. Need to double up a few times before I'm giving myself a decent shot at this.
Yer I got bored and wanted to finish. Probably could have gone further but I did well to get over 1 million in chips
