Good win for the Panthers. was generally impressed with their effort in defence. Bell and Grant stepped up well with the absence of Petero and Coote was very impressive.
Nice win. Was fairly scrappy in patches but we were always the better team. I thought our defence was superb despite one or two lapses throughout the game. One thing I wasn't too impressed about was Luke Lewis. He played too much of a playmaking role and he really needs to run it more and let Graham/Burns do their job. Graham was pretty much not used and he didn't get his chance to prove he should be Walsh's half partner. Definitely deserves to be retained for the next game though. Lachlan Coote is a legend and I am pretty sure Phil Gould has a man crush on him. He was great once again and he continued to chase the ball as hard as he could. Still relying a little too much on kicks but it was an improvement in that department as shown by that lovely piece of work from Luke Walsh to set up Luke Lewis. Luke Walsh was the next star player. He was great and he is really the form halfback of the competition this year. He has done a lot of work during the off-season and it is evident as well. What a great win and I am looking forward to the next game against Manly already!
Loled @ Graham's only grubber... straight at the ****ing fullback... No wonder we're scoring more tries from kicks when he isn't playing, because Walsh does all the short kicking!
