I understand that, but the players that weren't Giant's are giving him shit. Which is ridiculous IMO.
Tbh, it's not all at CCG. A lot of it is directed at Eds too, from everyone who felt that the Giants and Cheetahs were cheated of their teams.
Eds can't be blamed. If he got an application for the Sharks instead of Giants/Cheetahs then it was CCG & Doogs decision not his.
So if they were the 4 best applications then they were the 4 best applications. GYR has a RLSim team, Cribb has a Cricsim team, Why shouldn't Eds have a team?
I don't care enough about the other sims, or I'd be saying the same thing. It's a huge conflict of interest and Eds will always have the inside knowledge advantage. In fact, he approached me to join his "board" on the condition that I don't become CoS of another team. Wonder why?
I've already given good reason to believe otherwise. It'll be human nature, but there will be people who will think that some victory by the Hurricanes will be due to Eds knowing more than anyone else.
He's gonna have that knowledge wether he owns a club or not though, how does him having his own team effect what he sees/knows? So what you're really saying is that he shouldn't be able to have a player, which is unfair considering he's the one doing all the ****ing work, why shouldn't he get to enjoy it?
It's all about perception. As president, he's seen to have a large role in the team. As a player, he doesn't. But hey, I'm not really against it per se. I'm just pointing out issues that will inevitably come up.
They'll come up and be dismissed, you're basically accusing Eds of cheating. Accuse Prince and see what happens, his role in the team doesn't affect his access. If he has info as a president, he has info as a player. I trust that Eds isn't going to use any info to the detriment of other teams.
As long as he doesn't have a direct say in tactics etc then it shouldn't be an issue. But as I've already said - any time the Canes do well in S3 there will be accusations of cheating cause that's what people here are like.
