The one time I have been knocked out in my life is making a tackle and coping the hip of a second defender who came over the top.

It's worth a penalty. Not a send-off and 5 week suspension. Ese'ese only got 3 and it was far worse.

    Haha, crazy.

Can't believe they dropped Milford but not Isaako.

A penalty won't change that behaviour though. But like I said if you sit on the side of the fence that accepts it as a reasonable risk in the game then fair enough. I'm a massive fan of the UFC so I'm not going to pretend it's some moral high ground I'm taking here I just think logically the game would be a lot better off if we didn't have to keep seeing spine players who ball play into the line ruled out of the games or having to go off for HIA's. The game is worse off as a spectacle and a contest for all the HIA's we see.

It's all well and good to penalise defenders who make contact high providing late changes of height e.g Tedesco and Papi ducking low at the line is taken into account when penalties/grading are made. Just like we allow challenges on the kicker to play on if the ball has gone but the tackler was committed prior. There has to be some responsibility held by the ball runner to not put themselves in dangerous positions also.

Another thing that concerns me with this whole debacle is the fact we see ball runners essentially lead with the hip and shoulder knowing the shoulder charge in defence is gone from the game, if players start dropping their tackle points lower towards the hips tackles in those scenarios will increase the risk of concussions from heads being in the wrong spot around hip and elbow points of the attacking player.

I think these rules will reduce the amount of potential injuries to ball runners but likely just move them to defenders especially fatigued ones receiving them instead.

And then drop Oates and not Coates. Coates had a stupid amount of errors and won't be at the club next year.

As predicted, Kevvie is a useless cunt.

Knights looking like they belong in this comparison when they're playing 11.

Gotta love Drinkwater's confidence in being the best for the number 6 spot once Townsend and Dearden show up, because it's the truth.

Really am liking some of the young guns we've got coming in as well.

Still cant believe we weren't playing Walsh ahead of Isaako.

  10. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Kevvie is useless. There is a reason nobody else hired him, and we only hired him so the old boys and fox would say and write some positive shit.

Those sin binnings last night for high shots were laughable. One of them didn't even hit the head.

Did Murdoch Masila get binned? He was my supercoach star recruit

  13. Paddy P Orr

    He did yep.

  14. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

Instead of penalising everything and sending players to the bin, why not increase the incentive to tackle low? But they won't because they are obsessed with a quick game.

  15. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

    Coates has no clue defensively.

  16. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

    Man they're are shit. Fmd

  17. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

Radley can't win here. Robinson should hook him.

  18. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

What'd he do? Stunk up my supercoach side

  19. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    lol this is farcical.

  20. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

By the end they were trying to find something he'd done.
He did do a few minor head contacts, maybe one would have cost a penalty prior to last week.
