He wasn't great but he's than Crichton. And much more likely to provide impact imo.

Yeh agree with Boobidy Graham was shit last year. His defence was horrendous, cost us big time.

    No thanks.

Much more likely to miss a heap of tackles and give away stupid penalties. I'd definitely take Sims over both of them.

Purely because Hunt went off injured with that cork. I thought I read somewhere that he's been struggling with that for a while? Surely, if you were ever going to pick him again, you'd bring DCE into camp as a possible replacement in case something goes wrong at training.

I’ll agree he did give away two very dumb and crucial penalties. I didn’t really notice or analyse his defence in Origin last year so I’m open to being corrected on that basis.

But I do maintain he’s better than Crichton. Maybe they should’ve picked Sims. I just don’t see any impact coming from gimp hand.

Ah okay yeah Graham’s the one who raced up and missed McGuire. I remember now.

  7. Wilson SB Wilson

Graham really shouldn't be judged from the one game. He's a much better player than Angus, but he's been injured so fair play not picking him.

  8. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

MF has turned into a pure attack junkie.

    Such a Heman.

You're a fucking Sheman, ya parrot.

Crichton is a dumb pick to the extent that even Graham would've been a better one, but Graham definitely shouldn't feel hard done by after how outright retarded he was last year and the fact that he's arguably not fully fit yet either.

Why, because I picked Holmes over Oates and Graham over Crichton? Hardly two attack junkie decisions. If I had I’d be in favour of picking Roberts. I’m glad he’s been picked...but not because I rate him.

  13. Lukic L Popovic

Who would you have chosen? Aitken?

  14. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

You said finishing is the most important part of a wingers job. I'd debate it's not even top 3 you attack junkie.

  15. Lukic L Popovic

I actually think Roberts isn't a terrible pick. Inglis has lost a few steps and will struggle against him big time if Roberts gets some space. He'll struggle defensively, but realistically no one has been able to do a job on Inglis in origin in years gone by, at least Roberts will win as much as he loses imo.

Chambers can definitely destroy Mitchell. You have 2 centres who can't tackle, defending next to Maloney isn't gonna help either.

  17. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

lol. How the fuck is finishing tries not in the top 3? What are you even talking about?

  18. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Well I think the most important things for a winger are getting the sets off to a good start with strong carries, and stopping tries as more important. So I'll put finishing in at 3rd, just to appease the attack junkies on here trying to justify the Holmes/Roberts/Tarago selections.

    They should have picked Sims

I don't like the Roberts pick but I just don't rate any of the centres who were in contention so I struggle to care or even come up with alternatives.

I wanted Hayne and Bird at the start of the season, and they're both injured right now (not to mention having been awful when they've actually played anyway). Mitchell's gun attack potentially makes up for his shitty defence so I can wear that, but the rest all leave me really cold. I think I slightly prefer Roberts to Aitken but neither are Origin standard are both are going to be weaknesses so I don't care much.
