    It's a bit weird- he's got one of the shortest run-ups I've seen for a goalkicker and kicks under the ball a lot more than most, which could be because of the short run. Both would be easy to adjust without sacrificing any accuracy, you'd think.

    We are now in the clear on top of the table on 26 points.

    After the Cows on 24, the following clubs are only on 20. Games we've lost have been againt fellow top 4 sides.

    Been a pretty good season thus far.

    However, I do fear the periods in some matches when our discipline drops after we have complete control of the game and we open the door for the opposition. We allowed both Knights and Raiders to get back into contests where we should have kept our foot on thier throat. If this happens vs the better sides we would be unlikely to reign them in.

    Been a great season so far, but losing McGuire is a massive blow. Wallace, Dodds etc are all servicable bench players, but will have to go above and beyond to make up for it.

    Could Vidot be turned into a front rower?

    Would be a big ask getting a winger to shoulder the defensive load of a prop at NRL level imo.

    Ease him into, I guess. He played prop for the Jets, though who knows what that even means, Jets play completely different to any other team in Australia.

    Vidot returned from injury for the Jets over the weekend.

    Would be gun if Benny picked him throughout the finals, we need his size.

    Vidot is too unreliable to randomly recall for the finals IMO. If he was in a good space heading into them then fine but it's definitely an unnecessary risk otherwise.
