    That doesn't sound right.

    I was just looking at the rules of our league and it has an option for auto-emergencies. Which means you can have more than 17 players.

    For mine, it comes down to competition. I picked Dugan in the three quarter line for example as there's plenty of decent fullbacks, but it's hard to find good scoring centers/wingers.
