With two games in Brisbane for the first time since Lockyer retired in 2011, it will be a mighty task for NSW, no doubt.
I am very interested to see how Adam Reynolds goes. It's rare to have such a strong consensus advocating an untried rookie. He had more support this year than what Todd Carney did.
There seems to be a new round of wankery towards Pearce again, wouldn't be surprised if he's given another chance.
Mm. Indeed. Yet another pitfall of the form junkie mentality. They're willing to forgive and forget so much, so quickly. I don't see him getting picked again though after publicly undermining himself with his ultimatum...............to himself.
Queensland will win. Injuries, poor selections, players dropped for disciplinary reasons and a losing mentality will all play a part in N.S.W failing yet again.
I think about Origin every day. If Origin ceased to exist so would a majority, not all, but a significant majority of my interest in the game. I breathe it in the same way that some of you breathe your club footy.
Think of this as your time to relax and think of some non-origin past times. It's only 3 days out of the 365. Less than 1/100th of the year is an origin game day.
