yeah i know he is contracted, but like i can said in my post, can pretty much consider him an ex player.
lol. 1220: FOOTBALL Midfielder Michael Johnson has been released from his £40,000-a-week contract by Manchester City, reports the Guardian. The 24-year-old, once considered to be one of the brightest young players to emerge from the club's academy, last made an appearance for the club as a substitute in a Carling Cup tie against Scunthorpe in October 2009.
AWTA. Sad to see that someone who was dubbed the brightest young talent to come from the current champions of the premier league has wasted his career. Guess this is why people prefer to go abroad for talent, rather than investing here.
Nastasic has clearly been city's best CB and won player of the month for them in November. At 19 he's already one of the best defenders in the premiership and has the composure and ability of someone well beyond his years. He's got the skills to be a complete world class defender and for only 12 million + Savic, was an extraordinary signing given he should be performing at the highest level for the next 10 years. Nastasic has been covering for Kompany far more than the other way around.
To be fair to Johnson, pretty sure he was out injured for a solid 26 months or something straight. That would drive anyone to the brink
