yeah - it could happen to you. yet again, i thought it happened to me as i was pretty average for the first 2 seasons here and in the third i was averaging 20 for the first half. Then second half averaged about 70 and now I've got about 2000 runs this season @ 95 and am a gun - so things do change :P

if you're active, even if you're relatively shit compared to others of the same activity, you'll still be pretty good. nothing to worry about.

Time online, amount of threads read etc all factor into activity. That's basically what Skippos is trying to say in regards to posts not being the be all and end all.

It's a hard concept but activity isn't the be all and end all. it's pretty fair imo. Any questions, ask, and I appreciate that my ramble probably makes no sense to someone who hasn't seen anything like this before :P sorry!

then the rest is past performances, which really are the make or break bit i think - your past performances have a huge sway on how you go, so you could be really active but been terrible to begin with so you're still terrible, or be semi active but got lucky to begin with so now you're still alright.

E.G. Mike at the stingrays has 5000 posts. He's quite active but would only be ranked 100th for posts, if not less. However, he absolutely tore up in his first games and is now the 12th best batsman, well above what he 'would/should' be depending on posts. Someone like kingdamo who has like 25000 posts has always been terrible and is still playing second grade, as he was terrible to begin with so still is.
