Fifita should be in the side in place of Moors and Moors should be in the second row in place of Flanagan and Flanagan should be at lock in place of Heighington. Gibbs is an awesome defender with a good work rate. He was sorely missed today. The tackle Cayless missed on Paea which put the game beyond doubt was one I have no doubt Gibbs would've made.
Was a little annoyed at the last 15 minutes but still was a pretty good display. Conn had another good game, thought when we signed him that he'd probably spend most of his time in the NSW Cup and play the odd game due to injury but he's been surprisingly good for us. Ryles still looks off the pace imo, a few stupid penalties and errors but hopefully warms to it after a few more games. Tbf he hasn't really had a chance to come into his own though. Still reckon it's a little hard to make an assumption of where we're at but so far so good.
You mean the tackle where he got on the inside of Cayless and Farah just gave him a pat on the back to let him stroll through?
Yeah, it was Farah. Still, it's not up to the 80kg man trying to stop a 110kg man at full speed on his own. Even if Farah tries it's hopeless, he'd just get flung off.
I see your white text thar. But Ennis would've been too busy clapping the try, just like he was when the Dragons got a penalty on Friday night.
He didn't even bother making good first up contact, even if Paea did bust the tackle he would've slowed his momentum. If weight is an issue for him then he's in the wrong position in the wrong game, stop making excuses for him. It's not an attack on him as a player just laughing at you being a biased **** and leaving out his shirt grabbing attempt.
How often do you see 80kg men bringing down 110kg men who are at full speed, on their own. Regardless it was a poor attempt but there was nothing lol about it, the fact that Cayless left such a big gap was the much bigger problem.
We played interestingly. I mean we didnt have the best opening 10 or so minutes, then we showed how good we can be in attack with a bit of a roll on, putting on 38 unanswered points, then we went to shit defensively in the last 15 or so minutes. A very iffy game IMO.
He wasn't front on, the other guy had about a 3m head start. And Farah does it all the time, except this time he had other people there who he expected would help and it was in immense heat. Everything that could possibly be wrong in that scenario was. Farah didn't help it either with his effort, but to blame him completely is ridiculous. Only Friend and maybe Smith would've done better. No one else would get any nearer than Farah.
No wonder you think he's a good player if he's exempt from any defensive duties if the other guy is bigger than him... 20kgs difference is a lot but if you're a top Rugby League player you're expected to make it one on one or ten on one. Especially if you're the hooker who is one of the most important defenders in the team.
