They shouldn't be in the Bannerman Shield for season 9. If I was Rob I would; * Give them an ALC team where they (the board) can concentrate on signing all the new members and develop a few of the new guys they already have with the plan of reinstating them in the Bannerman Shield for season 10. * Allow members to sign a 2 season contract with the club with all the top players allowed to be loaned out in the first season of their contract. * Let the club pick a new board with respected members like Tyson who can start recruiting from the start of Season 9. * Let them keep their sub-forum where even members who are loaned out can still post so the club is still active. I reckon this will generate enough anticipation to be successful... too late to try and get a new board and some good players now as everyone has pretty much decided on which club they will be going to.
Yeah, pretty much what I have planned, sans the ALC team thing (can't see players signing up for an ALC-only club tbh). I don't really want them to fold as such as they have too much history, but if Kovas doesn't think he can get the team back on track for Season 10 he should appoint someone else. He was toying with making Eds President as of now but it's really too late for him to have an impact for this season - I could see him recruiting a lot of the Seasonal Rugby crowd for Season 10 if he had a proper chance though. Tyson would do a great job as well (probably a better job tbh) but the existing/remaining Saders have issues with him for some reason so I don't see him going that way.
Agree that Tyson or something along those linesis needed at the club.... But i wont be there if he's there *cue the typical Tyson "i don't want you shit ****" response*
Dunno, you'd have to imagine that most loaned players would end up staying if the Crusaders did fold.
SuperMatt. You'd stay. Oh and I'd make sure you'd stay just so I can have the joy of killing your career. You'd never play First Grade, You'd just rot away in seconds. Oh and don't try leave, I'll work out deals with every other team to make sure you never play a game again.
Kovas is really deserves the finger pointed at him here imo. I recognise he's done an alright job, as he had a incredibly hard act to follow. But it's only ever been on a downward spiral ever since he took the reigns (Why he was allowed to by Rob and I wasnt, I'll never know). The only way the club can start moving forward is heading back in the direction of what the club was about. Now this'll never happen. Kovas knows that if Luke or I were to take over from him, it would spell the end of his time at the club, along with other gaylords.
