Sportsbet are offering money back up to $100 if the Champions League final goes to extra time. With Juve paying $6 thats too good to refuse.
Feel like i've had a problem. Been doing it since the day i hit 18, nearly every day. I've lost 10's of thousands, the last time i checked my sportsbet account profit and loss statement (not to mention i have an account with every bookie) the amount was scary and that was nearly two years ago. I quit cold turkey for a good 6 months previously. It's not that im doing bets of 1k on a horse or throwing down 10k every race meet. It's just that its happening too regularly and ive lost way to much money. EDIT: Also, i've had some big wins but they don't last. The other day i went to the pokies and spent 1k in about 3 hours, yet i've wanted something for my car thats $350 but wont buy it because i don't want to fork out the $350 but i wont hesitate to put 1k in a machine. Its retarded how the brain works.
Oh shit, good on you for realising you had a problem though. Pokies are meh imo, they're designed to lose (it's why I can never be fucked touching them, don't enjoy it either). So I assume you bet on things you really have no interest/ knowledge in as well??? If you do want to continue betting in the future I'd advise doing deposit limits, that acts as your bank roll and you're more inclined to bet sensibly (especially the lower it is) and it's an amount you're prepared to lose every week/ month/ year if you constantly lost it all every time. Do what you think is best
Nah, thats not the case at all. I lose alot of my money on the pokies. As for sportsbet and what im betting on, i bet on sports i enjoy watching and have a fair bit of knowledge in. European Soccer is probably my big soft spot.
I put $3 on a Popular Multi (5 fold) because I was being OCD at the time and wanted my balance to be a nice looking number - the multi has just won and pocketed me $33.42. So odds of just over $11
In other news I have $5 on a 9 fold (10 way) - a legit my picks this time (tennis). 4 players have won already, 3 in play looking good to do so, 3 to play. Will return $131 if it wins. Could cash out for $24.60 atm buuuutt it's looking good tbh. For those interested the multi is/ was:
Won the 9 fold, James Ward the only player that lost so only won $11 in the end. Not bad picking 9 out of 10 winners, even if I say so myself
Holy fuck I'm loving my OCD!!!! Put $4.88 on this virtual horse race thing (like seriously this is a thing) - tricast any place (1st, 2nd, 3rd) my 3 horses all placed and I won $71.61!!!! That's going into the savings.
