I guess Lesnar was ready to take on the heat that would be generated from ending the streak, plus he's away most of the time. And also if Cesaro, Reigns or any of the other young superstar did it, they probably wouldn't have been able to carry the pressure of ending the streak.
I think both Cesaro and Reigns could more than carry the weight of such an honour. Reigns could have really used it, especially with how much they want to push him this year
Anyway from what I read it was Taker's decision and he wanted to end it to Brock. I would've liked if he ended to either Triple H or Shawn.
Yeah I guess they are just waiting for Taker to recover and make his appearance? I really don't see anyone other than Taker being his last opponent.
both are about to get mega pushes this year. once the shield break up after this face run is done later in the year, reigns will easily be the break out star of the year. I almost expect him to win the 2015 rumble
So apparently the Ultimate Warrior is dead. I am actually seriously weirded out right now. Not only is the whole thing epicly strange timing but I swear I was saying while watching his promo on Raw that if he kept shaking those ropes too hard he would get a heart attack. RIP
Trying to copy the E. It's a good move on their part, but watching the show it just struck me how tacky everything looked and how lifeless the crowd was. TNA has always obvs been unable to compete with the E in terms of production values and crowd sizes etc... But there is something about their shows at the moment that scream "second rate".
I am not annoyed at the streak ending but I don't think Lesnar at all deserved to be the guy to end it. Taker probably hand picked him but there were far more deserving choices whether it be someone like Shawn, HHH or even someone like CM Punk.
Punk out of the scene for now, HHH had the thing with Bryan and HBK retired. Guess he was the only competent one who was available to do it. When TNA eventually shuts down, would Angle return to the WWE?
