Ok folks what's Farcry 3 like? worth me getting? Keeping in mind I love open world games with really good stories (think of Infamous 1 and 2 type thing) so the fact that multiplayer is shite or whatever does not concern me tbh (if it was good I probably still wouldn't bother) What's the storyline like? something I'm going to get engrossed in? I'm gonna have a look through this thread to see what others have said but yeah worth the money? I mean I really enjoy Just Cause 2 (which tbh doesn't have the best of stories - kill this, get that kinda thing) but the fact the islands were so huge and all that and even the over exaggerated action type thing - made it pretty fun. So the fact Farcry 3 should have a better storyline and more realism, this should really be the game for me.
Underground, Underground 2 and the original Most Wanted were the pinnacle of the NFS series imo. I've never played the first ones. awta. I thought I had the link somewhere but it was on my old computer. I pumped so many hours into it. I'm a nerd who likes that kind of game. Sim City was pretty cool as well.
Managed to download it but Bender and I couldn't get the multiplayer working, I think because of port forwarding
The site worked eventually, something in my browser was stopping it from working properly. In multiplayer you can have a few different companies and try and make profit and stuff

Been playing Mass Effect 1 again, going to replay the series one after the other. It's uh...not as good as I remember. I missed the inventory and the exp systems in the sequels, but they don't really add much here. The party members barely have anything to say, and you are stuck with both Ashley and Kaiden, instead of just one of them, ugh. I'd say 2 is the pinnacle of the series, even though I thought it was balls at one stage.
I am worried about buying it since I felt Far Cry 2, despite being a beautiful and often amazing game, was a slight let-down in terms of an overall gameplay package - long travel times, occasionally repetitive, bloody hard at times too all contributed to that - just got my paycheck though so I think I'll give it a shot along with Max Payne 3, which is only $34 at EB
Yeah, they don't follow on. Just fun to play previous ones to get you pumped for the following one and good for comparison reasons.
