There cant be many Aussies/NZ getting bored seeing GB play when theres only like 3 active on here Btw Go GB
what does active count as? like this whole thing doesn't seem to be active by normal standards really
Update: 0 mins Well, what a brilliant day for rugby. The sun is shining and it is the first ever provincial match in Seasonal Rugby history. It may only be a friendly, but it should be very interesting to say the least. Plenty of subs will be used today and lots of changing around, especially for Great Britain. Looking at the team sheets, it is looking in GBs favour. E Ames has the ball and is almost ready for the kick off.
Ftr guys, ROA vs NSW was scheduled to be first, but neither if you have handed your lineups in. Snake and Freddy to HTFU.
Eds you bitch... I just finished breakfast and have had computer internat access enabled. Was making my way on to do this
Update: 20 mins E Ames has taken the ball and put a high one to the left side of the field. DRP Taylor has taken it and charges into the Great Britain defense. Chung and Humble get to the breakdown well and give Jennings plenty of time to get rid of the ball. Scoble pops the ball up to Weaver who is coming on at pace. BOOOOOM! Blunder has munched Weaver. The physios are on and GJ Weaver is not looking good. He is coming off and in his place on comes Shreyas. Yates will move to No.8 with Humble moving to flanker and MP Chung moving in to Centre. This is not good for the NZers, no primary centres are on the pitch at the moment. Anyway, Weaver knocked the ball on and it is a scrum to GB. Ames feeds it in well and Edwards hooks it back. SDR Laing holds it in at the back well until Ames is ready to pass it. Luffman takes it well and steps pass Scoble...LINE BREAK FROM LUFFMAN, LOVELY STUFF! Decent hit from Bots has stopped Luffman dead as support arrives from Verigotta and Wilkinson. Ames goes for the pick and go himself...TRY! NEAR TO THE LEFT OF THE POSTS AND AMES HAS DIVED OVER AND PUT THE BALL DOWN! He converts his own try and jogs back to make the score 7-0 to GB after 20 minutes of play here in this provincial friendly.
Update: 40 mins DRP Taylor kicks off and sends it into the forwards off Great Britain. Lovely take by McDougal. McGrath has propelled him like a rocket there. He flicks it back to E Ames who goes blind and gives it to SJ Nova. He has knocked it on. That is bad hands and he has gifted NZ a scrum inside the GB half. Jennings has fed it in but a massive push from GB has almost resulted in a turnover. But Edwards could not get anything on it. Jennings takes it at the back and flicks it on to Scoble. He hands it to Chung who tries to fake a dummy with Kirikiri but there is not enough pace on it and Blunder and Golding are up in a flash to whip out any sign of a try. Turnover from Golding! Not enough players at the breakdown for NZ and they have lost it. Ames has put a kick straight over and Nova is coming on at some pace! NOVA HAS VERY NEARLY GOT TO IT BUT THE BOUNCE HAS NOT BEEN NICE TO HIM. He gets to it, but by the time he regains it, he is taken down by Bots. C Laing wins that ruck on his own and is holding off 3 NZ ruckers. Support arrives and Ames passes to Luffman. A back move is run and Graham comes in all guns blazing. GRAHAM HAS BROKEN THE TACKLE OF KIRIKIRI AND IS THROUGH HE SIDESTEPS BOTS AND TRYYYYYY TO GB! That is an easy conversion for Ames under the posts and he gets it with ease. The score going into half time is 14-0 to GB.
