Stingrays Look Strong in Steel Much maligned over the years for wearing their Khakis out of the house the Stingrays are sick and tired of Cricsims endless tirades against their club colour. Under new leadership this season the Stingrays are now looking to update their look. The Stingrays think their future is in Steel and they are ready to face the Cricsim world unbendingly. "We have often felt a little overlooked by some members of the Cricsim community because they don't like our look, well I am here to say that this needs to change," said new season eleven president Steven Cambridge, "We have a fresh new look coming for season 12 and this colour change is the first step in that process." Cambridge also suggested that a new period of club succes and prosperity would be on the cards in conjunction with this new look. The whole Stingrays dressing room is really excited for these changes and to see what the future holds for this Club. This club, which has been described by some of it's members as a massive love in, is really looking to extend a loving hand to people around cricsim who really value love, friendship and above all success. Star bowler AJ James had this to say about the upcoming changes, "When Steve said we were trying to harden up for next season I was confused, as I'm usually hard in the dressing rooms, especially when el presidente is around. But after he explained that he meant the clubs image, I agreed with him, and we set to making a new colour, logo & jersey to make everyone else just as hard as we were at that moment." This new period promises to be a bright new step for the Stingrays. Keep your eyes peeled for a New logo and new shirt designs in the future as the Stingrays harden up their image and their act in preparation for season 12. Nah, it's a good move, but I'm not sure if I like to see the traditional Stingray colour change (unless it has before I guess).
Steve Irwin is a long time a go and there might be people who don't even get the khaki link. I think the Steel Grey (being a colour people actually associate with stingrays) makes a lot more sense as the colur tbf.
Fair call, but I don't feel like we are challengeing our heritage and tradition, we are just creating a new future.
