Was a silly pass no matter how you look at it, it was lucky it was in goal as Dugan was in an offside position ( well from my viewing it was anyway) but Gallen otherwise even I have to admit had a pretty good game.
Just saw the pass from Gallen. People defending that are idiots. Other than that he has been awesome.
Fuck the last page about Gallen is full of shit cunts trying to justify something that was equal to Hayne's brain explosion to Lockyer. Massive clutch.
Fuck off idiot. He was sprinting from the other side of the field to try and stop a 2-1. In that situation, you do whatever you can to stop the try. Saying you should always take the man with the ball NO MATTER WHAT is about as practical in theory as communism. You clearly don't remember Slater doing the exact same thing in the 2004 final series and the intercepting the ball from Sherwin who had an open El Masri on his inside. Obviously you don't know much about Rugby League...
No he wasn't you shit cunt. He was definitely solid. Bird was awesome. Scott did his job; nothing more. Young, Morris and Merrin were all terrible though.
Don't forget Scott was a spaz and opened up the hole Slater strolled though just to put a hit on Lockyer.
Lockyer was Scott's man, he did exactly as he should, the inside man didn't 'shut the gate' and even Gasnier didn't push up on the outside man who could have strolled through and scored anyway (Harrison I think it was).
It was everyone's fault really, slater fielded that ball on the 20m line and they managed to score without any penalties or kicks.
Whats alarming is why Queensland have to be trailing before they start to gel in attack. NSW defence on the goal line was awesome most of the night but Queensland did look pretty ordinary at times in attack too. Passes hitting the ground, even the lead up to Yow Yeh try was poor.
Smith deadset could've run in and scored himself instead of grubbering for JT, Bird and Jennings both looked to go left and Dugan got stuck at 'a' defender. No desperation whatsoever from NSW defense.
Gasnier can be forgiven. He was just made look fucking terrible by Soward's ineptitude at five-eighth. Didn't give Gasnier early ball all night. We were only dangerous when Dugan, Bird or Pearce gave early ball to Jennings and co. Soward was the invisible man.
Tonga wasnt great but gotta admire the fact he stayed out there to help his team out despite the shoulder injury. Just sucks for the Cows now.
Watching the game again and there are some serious points to be scored out on NSW right hand side, Gasnier is up a little early to cover for Soward outside him, very dangerous if someone were to just cut out Lockyer.
