They certainly weren't robbed and it's hard to complain when you play as they have for the last month or two. But they can feel a little unlucky at having a shot at the minor premiership but without their hooker, fullback, prop and utility forward. Toovey's just a whining little cunt though. No different than when he was a player. In fact he's worse now than ever.
I'd like to think that Toovey sometimes does it to take the focus off his players. I'm not so sure though.
This was an extremely important win for the Cows. They definitely have a good shot of going deep into the finals series even if Penrith beat the Warriors. It'd give us Brisbane at home followed by in all likelihood Penrith away and then a prelim against Manly or Souths, teams we've beaten in the last 3 weeks.
Was in the post match conference? In the bit I saw, he said that he still thinks they're the best team in the comp, and it was a shame to get pipped by for and against. I don't think any of that is too out of line, and there wasn't any mention or suggestion of them being robbed or deserving it more.
Yeah that's all fine. And it's a perfectly defensible position given that Manly lead the comp for so many weeks and did beat Easts both times they've played.
