Should've been able to knock off a 1 man team. Will put it down to teething problems of two new starters and a completely new bench. Will do other shit today to get some interest going here.
Season 6 Pandas MVP 3: Lucas Schaw - Dominant game from Mr.Everything. Knocked down over half of his shots, including 2/2 from deep and got to the line numerous times to rack up 31 points, tying the point scoring record for the club (Alongside Lukic and Cambridge). Combine that with 8 boards, 7 assists, 5 steals and a block Schaw dominated both ends of the court. 2: Aaron Hunt - With Chewie leaving he had to step up and take over the centre role. Solid first outing where he actually took a decent number of shots for once (surprising). Knocking down a career high 29 points at a respectable 56% he also tied the club's FGA record. Add on the 12 boards, 4 assists and 5 blocks he filled out the other categories quite nicely. 1: Andrew James - It appears he's shaken off his sub par S5 with 27 points including 5 from deep. He appears to complement young guard M James well providing a number of assists and a few boards as well. Standings: 3 - Lucas Schaw 2 - Aaron Hunt 1 - Andrew James
Can't argue with the MVP votes. It's going to take time for all of us to get used to the new starters and also new bench players but there were some positives we can take out of the game which will hopefully hold us in good stead for the future. I really need to improve my shooting as 5-16 is nowhere near good enough
Ooh a point. Sucks to lose a close game like that though. In other news we need a nickname for the me and the other James. We need a name that's witty at first, but that seems less funny each time you hear it.
