    Your last scenario seems the most plausible but even so, bringing in an injured, rookie fullback to play bench is ludicrous. The only other situation would be Hayne is suspended, Dugan goes to the back and again, Barrett is dropped for Gidley at 6.

    It's a ****ing mess.

    Didn't he first get named captain game 1, 2009? If so, I don't really blame them too much. Who else would they have picked who would be a suitable and long term option as captain? The only guys from that team that played in game 1 this year other than Gidley were Hayne, Creagh, Weyman and Lewis (who was off the bench).

    Yeah that last part could very well happen. From previous years though it seems as though Bellamy loves playing Gidley at hooker so Dugan coming into Fullback towards the end of the game and Gidley going to hooker could potentially happen and personally isn't the worst idea. Dugan could do some damage with some tired forwards.

    Typo. 2009, yes.

    The reason they were left with few choices is because they picked a shit team. Kimmorley or Hindmarsh could've been captaining NSW since 2007. This is yet another problem caused by picking on short term form.

    Yeah I agree with Hindmarsh. He is one of the only players who I would have in my team every game every series no matter what.

    The fact that they picked Waterhouse over him in Game 1 just shows these blokes have absolutely no idea at all.

    The most likely case IMO, is Hayne will get off and Lewis will get suspended.

    Knowing how much Bellamy likes Barrett, and that Pearce was first choice for Game 1, it seems as though Gidley will be the first player in SOO history to captain from the bench.

    It's all Bellamy's doing. He doesn't like Hindmarsh so he doesn't get picked. Simple as that. It is certainly no coincidence that as soon as Bellamy took the reigns, Hindmarsh stopped getting picked. It is ****ing retarded.

    I dunno exactly how the judiciary works, but Hayne could have just been selected in the 9000 man side so that would count as his one suspension game. Don't think he has any chance of playing.
