Better than Lyon at 5/8th. Gidley and Hayne aren't afraid to try something different, which is what NSW needs atm, because they can't win with your ordinary play. Kimmorley is nothing more than just an organiser too, he isn't going to win you a game.
I'm happy with that, take out the thurston try that was clearly 2 on 1 strip then we won. Poor reffing whether QLD or NSW had of won the refs were a disgrace
There was no problem with that try, was a clear one-on-one strip. The Lockyer try however was off a forward pass.
AWTA Refs were shit, loads of bullshit calls both ways. It was a 2 man strip, and even if it wasn't then Kidley was tackled without the ball. Plus the foward pass.
The NSW penalty that supposedly came of Slater was BS too. Both sides had bad calls go their way. QLD were just way better.
That was a lot more obvious than the strip tbh. Thurston stole the ball before Inglis came in contact with Gidley, and how was Inglis supposed to know that Gidley didn't have the ball?
