Mighty Sharks GK: Eddie Morris D: DG Dafter D: HJ Bots LW: Simon Laing C: C Laing RW: Brett Hall Ice Pumas GK: Adam Vago D: Jason Denton D: Luke Pilgrim LW: Scott Flack C: Marcuss Deane RW: James McDougal The Sharks currently sit 2nd after round 1, the Pumas 4th after a disappointing 1-0 loss at home. Will we see the Sharks continue to move forward or will the Ice Pumas make up lost ground?
I haven't decided how I'll be doing the other two yet, it's just how I feel and how the game is maybe... I was thinking doing one live, one semi and the other non would be ok though...
End of Period 1: Mighty Sharks 1, Ice Pumas 1 Goals: Hall (1), Deane (1 PPG) Assists: C Laing (1), Flack (1) Sharks started the game well picking up an early goal about 1/3rd in. It was a great play from the Sharks the puck went from Dafter to Bots then on to C Laing and Hall before a quick shot left Vago with little chance. Ice Pumas hit back late with a goal to Deane after a nice pass from Flack, Morris just missing the puck with his stick. Simon Laing was in the box and let the Ice Pumas on the PowerPlay for that one.
End of 2nd Period: Mighty Sharks 1, Ice Pumas 1 Goals: Hall (1), Deane (1 PPG) Assists: C Laing (1), Flack (1) Scoring stopped int he 2nd period, but there were quite a few shots, plenty of them with not much on them or wide/high of the goal. Quite a few good hits, the game has been pretty physical yet still open and attacking.
