Nah, I would obviously no the fella (lady) so I would be sad, but there would be no evidence so the accusation would be meaningless. You just have a guilty conscience.
You wouldn't obviously know them. If it was just some random guy plucked off the street who was dead upstairs. Who else would they suspect. You would be the main suspect.
