    The over-correction part is what puzzles me. Someone whose watched the game as long as you should know thats how the officials operate. Same as when the 10m crackdown happened. Or the hip-drop. Or the shoulder charge. Or the late shot. Or the lifting tackle. Or the *insert literally anything here. lol its plainly predictable. Give them an inch they will always take a mile. Give them a mandate and watch them go bonkers with it.

    I dont know how you or Robinson or the media failed to recognise this age old trend when you decided to support it. Anyways...live and learn.

    On defensive notes, Billy Smith looked clueless for the Roosters as well. Can bag Keary all you want but their defence isn't up to it either, the lineup names to results ratio has got to be one of the worst coached seasons ever. Maybe Robinson isn't so great after all. He's a massive conformist too, preaches every gay leftist talking point the media brings up.

    There's no doubt he's a great coach. No mug wins 3 comps. But he aint no Bellamy or Bennett either. You would never see them miss the 8 with a roster like that, when most people had them finishing first.

    If I was advising them you might have a point but my opinions have sweet fa to do with anything they do.

    Yeh Billy Smith’s defence has been shit, our edge defence in general. I actually think our yardage defence and middle third has been pretty decent over the past 2 months since Ryles moved on.

    Biggest issue remains injuries and continuity of lineup. Again this year no club has had more long term (5 weeks+) injuries than the Roosters who have had 12. You can’t keep putting that shit down to bad luck, you have to review training workload and programs.

    Again fans discussing the game don’t need to be pragmatic as all we are ever discussing is purely theoretical, it’s a mute point. Pretty clear I didn’t support the over the top crackdown but was in support for moving the line of leniency on what constitutes a sin bin. Spin it however you please.

    I believe he should have been binned based off the interpretations this year with forceful contact to the head. I don't believe it's actually a sin bin offence. The Butcher one looked more like a binning, TBF.

    Hate watching games officiated by this bloke, I’ve got no idea how he’s considered the best in the game.

    Just to top it off, the only bloke who was sent to the bin for repeated infringements was from one teams was the side who conceded 12 penalties, not 21. :lol:
