yeah went to a union school in brisbane they were always called second row, on all union tv coverage they are 2nd row and i am fairly sure it is only the kiwis who dont call them second row
might be slightly more valid if it werent the case that everywhere in australia private school boys play union
lies, in every other language other then english and affikans they are called second row, shows we are in the majority
i just think its hilarious that your thread to prove your point, metioned how in australia they are often just refered to as second rowers and then also in every other language it says they are second rowers, thought that was humerous
I call them Second Row on the odd occasion, but you seem to believe they're not called Lock fullstop when it is actually their proper name. Call them whatever you want, doesn't really matter we still get the idea.
You mean my link? It says the proper name is lock, which is basically what I've been saying the whole time.
Lock is the proper name IMO, Second Row is just a modernised term. It's like them wanting to change "Prop" To "Tighthead" and "Loosehead" to make it more technical and "Hooker" to "No.2".
who really cares, poor boob was confused, and it pays, when dealing with alot of aussies to go with 2nd row IMO weather thats the original technical term or not
