I'd really have a crack at Stewart on the wing. It's about a thousand times more likely to succeed than the reverse.
I'd go Hayne. Stewart was brilliant against the Titans but unfortunately NSW don't have the advantage of having the Manly backline. Hayne can still shine even in a mediocre team.
Stewart would still do very well for NSW, as he did in 2012. The Hayne/Stewart issue isn't that Hayne would be good and Stewart wouldn't.
I've liked the "Doogs" since that allstars game he played. I think if he can put all the bullshit and injuries behind him and string a season or two together....he'd be in the top 5-10 players in the game. I don't dislike Hayne......happy to play him on the wing (despite the objections of a few) I dislike Stewart and think he's over rated.
Anthony Minipizzachiello. He is the only one who has actually won a series. Plus no one else is an aristocrat. Which makes him a good captain too.
It would've been very interesting to see who Daley picked if all three of them were unavailable for Game III this year.
Would Go Hayne, because there will be at least 1 shunty half they will have to carry. Hayne gives them another playmaking option. Something he cannot really contribute from wing or centre.
