Because linear shootan' games are like everywhere, and you really have to spray pesticide everywhere to be able to make it through them. You really have to either be funny or think outside the box to make them interesting, and unfortunately you didn't even go outside of whatever tiny case that indie CD of yours you played a track of came from.

This is true. Unless the editing is really nice or the gameplay something really original and awesome (In my time playing shooters maybe seen 5 like this)
Finished exams today so went and bought Halo 4 ($68 at Big W, cheap as). Only played multiplayer and doing pretty well at it. It's amazing so far.
Playin ol' madden 12 Drafted all the young players My team has so many young guns was Ryan McCoy Johnson Jr, Julio Jones Gronk Okung,Pouncey,Pouncey, Tyron Smith Dareus, Suh Clay Matthews,R McClain, Von Miller Haden, Peterson + some other guys who had heaps of potential went 12-3-1 in first season won it all easy, then I scouted an 82 rated 23 QB with 99TP,88 DAC, 80MAC, 70 SAC and 90 Awareness he also only had 45speed and agility and 50 TOR traded Matt Ryan to get the fella, won the super bowl three more times in a row with my new QB throwing 135 Touchdowns in his first 3 seasons and getting 3 MVPs WAG!
