My match was tied >.> Needed two to win and my guy gets run out going for the second run. This was in the 45th over though :fp:

Cricsim Friendly Comp - Matchday One Preview #1

    Iridium XI - Iridium

    v

    Northern Eagles - Mike

    Pitch: Crumbling
    Weather: Sunny

    Likely XIs

Iridium: Linday, Amin (wk), Khozo (c), Khan, Burgess, Colgan, Kapugedara, Bovell, Garrick, Ruxin, Pfaff

Eagles: Morgan, Watson, Kamal, Onyons, Koen, Anakin, Williams, Brennan, Macgregor, McDonnell, Leak

    Likely Ratings: Iridium 167 - 162 Mike

    Players to Watch:

    Sammy Morgan
: Deadly with the bat, Morgan averages over 80 for the Eagles; taking after another notable S Morgan. Too bad he can't field.
Alester Khozo: Awesome batsman with power, experience and is able to field. Can destroy on his day
Chandradasa Kapugedera: Handy bowling allrounder who provides late runs and wrist spin
Rae Williams: Probably the best player in this game, if he fires with the ball it's game over for Iridium

Result: I'm predicted Iridium XI to win by 60 runs/4 wickets here. The experience of their players will be too hard to overcome, and Kapugedera will be deadly as the only spinner on the crumbler. If Williams fires however, anything could happen.

Yeah, Williams is a weapon for me.

Gonna need Kapugedera to fire here. If I still had my old wrist spinner, Frylinck, my win would almost be all but assured. But I don't :p

Anyone keen for a friendly this weekend?

    End of over 13 (7 runs) - RavioliTins(61-1). 274 runs required from 37 overs. RR 4.69 RRR 7.41
    R. de Haan 31 (40b) , E. Maiden 1 (2b) , M. Bazil 1-0-7-1

Bazil gets first blood. WAG

Centurions A.Price and keeper Pilliani (both who Veez is now familiar with :p) set up a huge total. 188 partnership on a dry/overcast - goddamn.

Team I am facing is not that bad. Just that I knew he didn't have any spinners to play so chose dry. His medium got 5-58 though, WAC.

End of over 5 (9 runs) - West Edinburgh Wanderers(20-0). 278 runs required from 45 overs. RR 4.00 RRR 6.18
    R. Davidson 11 (11b) , R. Lee 8 (19b) , H. King 3-1-13-0

Was keeping it tight until then. Happy with my score, just need to take some wickets. At least my game against Steeley on Sun gives me a chance to test my XI for the comp.

236-1 so far from 36 overs. Not bad on a green pitch. Should make 320ish and then hoping for some early wickets from my new bowler.

    End of over 13 (4 runs) - The Jeweller's Hands(120-2) RR 9.23
    A. Mahmood 26 (22b) , C. Briant 1 (1b) , E. Higgins 2-0-14-0

Not too bad going so far on a flat. My openers (one of them a newly promoted player who I threw in because of his form) both out in the forties which is annoying. Looking to build a big total now with my two best batsmen at the crease.

    This is more like it

7.1 W Nijman to Davidson : Short of a length, Davidson goes back to cut the ball through point but it doesn't bounce and the off bail has been removed.
    R. Davidson b. R. Nijman 17 (19b 3x4 0x6) SR:89.47

8.3 W C. Wilson to Lee : [catch] A lofted drive goes straight into the hands of mid-off. Samad takes the catch comfortably and that's the end for Lee. He is quite unhappy with himself.
    R. Lee c R. Samad b. C. Wilson 21 (28b 3x4 0x6) SR:75.00

    47/2
