Team History
CricSim Season 1

The start of CricSim at
www.CricSim.com
was without the Cyclones and the season consisted of only 4
teams, The Allstars, Ireland, Redbacks United and The Sticky Wickets XI. In
season 1 Cyclones were appointed to be the first and to this day of only 2
"Board-Appointed/Helped" teams. During season 1, Robert Cribb appointed himself
President of the club and also declared the return of JP™ as captain and MJ
Johns as captain when JP™ could not make it on due to living in the UK and
struggling with time-zone constraints. The Vice captain of the Cyclones for
season 2 was All-Stars wicket-keeper/batsmen JB Dempsey AKA; Bedsey,
BedseyRoxMySox, Avenger, Temptress, Raiden and Gunblade.

CricSim Season 2

Season 2 was the introduction of the Cyclones and Cyclones most successful year
at CricSim.com as of yet by winning the Minor Premiership, but being defeated in
the Grand Final to the Redbacks. MJ Johns was announced primary captain
mid-season due to JP™'s time-constraints and inactivity.

Season 2 Awards;
The Most Improved Medal:* R Gee
The Sheepman Medal: Robert Cribb
The Sam Green Medal: Sam Green
The JP™ Trophy: AC Prodigy

*This was the only season till this point that the award has been awarded.

CricSim Season 3

Season 3 is perhaps the most controversial season in Cyclone with big problems
in losing ace wicket taker AC Prodigy who was released to the Sticky Wickets XI.
This season also marked the season of one of, if not the most, controversial
player/captain to ever play CricSim, Elliot Volavola. Volavola was captain of
the Redbacks (Who ironically beat the Cyclones in the previous season's Grand
Final) but was expelled from CricSim and also had his user banned. Volavola was
later let back into CricSim but the Redbacks had since folded and all the
players had shifted and now are captained by Mikey Monkeywrench at The
Crusaders. Volavola had no club and was given a life-line by the Cyclones,
something they have never regretted and Volavola has never let them down, being
a regular starter in first grade even vice captaining the side on a few
occasions despite not being able to do his regular job of wicket-keeping a role
filled by ace batsmen Jack Dempsey. Elliot has also lived up to expectations off
the field but will sadly be leaving us too start Redbacks United again in season
5. Proving people wrong by showing they were a force without AC Prodigy, the
Cyclones finished second on the ladder and were the form team of the competition
going to the Grand Final, The boys put up a hardy fight, but were defeated in
the end.

Season 3 Awards;
The Sheepman Award: JB Dempsey
The Sam Green Medal: J Ono
The JP™ Trophy: EL Volavola

CricSim Season 4

The weight was on the Cyclones this year, after making the Final in the last two
seasons. This season they had something to prove. The beginning of the season
was slow for the Cyclones, being winless after 4 matches, with the bowling
letting them down in their drawn matches. That all changed in round 8 when they
Cyclones would remain winless no more. With Short and Gonzalez both cracking
tons, and with Dempsey scoring a double ton. The test, however, was the
bowling... And it made it's presence felt. With Johns opening the bowling with
Green he took 7 wickets for the match with Green, Ryabovol and Cribb pitching in
with useful contributions. That was the turning point in the Cyclones season and
started a great run of form for the Cyclones winning 5 from 6. Unfortunately, an
embarrassing loss to the Vipers triggered a 4 match losing streak, with 3 close
losses. Their do or die round 19 clash with the Allstars was the final nail in
the coffin, where the Cyclones we dominated in every aspect of the match.
Despite being out of contention for the final they walloped the Vipers in the
last round of the regular season, a threat to the other teams for Season 5.

Season 4 Awards;
The Sheepman Award: ND Short
The Sam Green Medal: MJ Johns
The JP™ Trophy: Sam Green

Season 4 Hall-Of-Fame induction:
The eighth Cyclone to be inducted into the Hall of Fame is Sam Green.

Season 4 State of Origin Representatives:

RLSim Season 1

Fred started as the first Cyclones RLSim captain, naming Bedsey as his
vice-captain. RLSim started in the hands of RyanG but he soon found he did not
have time to run a Sim, he passed the torch to close mate Chocobot, but he also
found he had the same problem. RLSim was soon ditched.

RLSim Season 1 - The GYR Competition

After the many problems following the demise of a RyanG and Chocobot run RLSim,
many at the Cyclones thought that RLSim was to be ever doomed. This changes,
however, when the most popular runner of RLSim ever took over the reigns. The
Cyclones jumped at the chance to expand their franchise once more and entered
the competition under the titles "Cyclones RLFC".

The Cyclones were at times a dominant force in the first season of RLSim, at one
point leading the competition. Unfortunately, some close losses forced them out
of the top 2 and ended up missing a Grand Final birth by 2 points in their last
match. Cyclones RLFC is currently captained by the Cyclones President Bedsey,
and is Vice Captained by former Cyclones CricSim regular Incey.

SoccerSim Season 1

Much like CricSim, season 1 of SoccerSim started without the Cyclones but at the
start of the season Freddie Fittler announced that Cyclones would do as they did
in RLSim and outreach to SoccerSim. Freddie also announced that Incey would
captain the team and could start recruiting immediately.

Incey recruited well enough for the team to start in season 2, he also signed
his Vice-captain, Readie.

SoccerSim Season 2

The Cyclones kicked it off with their first ever game ending in a draw with Guns
United.
