This is a bit of a pointless thread, because OD cricket being scrapped wouldn't make BS, ALC and PC matches happen more frequently. I'm quite happy having one round a week. The only way that'd change would be if I decided to have two rounds a week, and getting rid of OD cricket definitely would not be enough cricket gotten rid of for that to be feasible.
Yeah the round a week system is pretty good. This was more to get an idea of how interested people are in the OD stuff when compared to the more classical formats.
Yeah, shouldn't really be put forward as an option of increased frequency though. I think the vast, vast majority of the forum take the BS/ALC/PC a lot more seriously than the one day stuff, but the alternative to the one day stuff is just having two less games every day. It wouldn't speed the rest of it up.
Honestly, removing provincial seconds would be the best thing. Provincial cricket is about the best of the best.
What a surprise that someone good at OD likes it and someone absolutely rubbish at it thinks it's shit.
I like OD cricket as it makes the CricSim competition more realistic. One of the reasons I was, and still am, keen on T20.
I'm wondering whether strike rates and economy rates can be crammed into the stats on the side for OD stuff
I used to have that in there but it took up too many lines. If you want detailed stats you can always click the simming name in the sidebar and get taken to the stats page.
Someone like Heef or yourself should put their hand up to run a T20 comp and give up their other sims.
