It's so common in English footy I find and Wigan are no different - Their C defenders never seem to move up relative to their inside men. Maybe it's something to do with a less lateral game because of the conditions over there but man it screws up their line. Good line from Gillett and nice pass from Nikorima nonetheless but yeah, I'd be running the big men two passes wide all night.
It'll be interesting to see how McCullough goes this year without Hodges there to steal most of the dummy half runs.

See right there in that set you see neither Milford nor Nikorima can structure a side. Any decent half gets in there and gets his forwards wider. They're just standing there watching their big men get chewed up and doing nothing.
