So...I'm suppose to be in charge of coordinating the music for a Mad Men Soiree tomorrow night...

Anyone got a playlist of good 60's song? Or even a place where I can download like the top 50 or so 60's music?

Thinking of just going through this list:

But cbf downloading it all individually.

Yeah, definitely will have some Beatles in there for sure.

Anyone got albums or links to downloads of albums that they can send me?

If I heard Beatles at a Mad Men party, I'd leave.

Gonna be a mix of everything from the 60's. Plus some newer music. It's just a theme for a presentation thingy we are doing.

  10. Eggman DA Eggman

Beach Boys, Stevie Wonder, Rolling Stones, The Animals, The Kinks and The Who

Definitely House Of The Rising Sun to be included. Classic 60's song as well as Eloise by Barry Ryan. Some early Bee Gees too.

Although they're reasonably new Tame Impala would fit well.

    Velvet Underground is a must:

All Tomorrow's Parties, I'm Waiting For The Man, There She Goes Again would all work pretty well.

Cream could be good too. Strange Brew? Sunshine Of Your Love?

I associate Stevie Wonder with the 70s tbh...although I haven't heard much of his early Little Stevie Wonder stuff

The Yardbirds, The Stones and The Who are my favourites but also...

Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, CCR, The Animals, The Velvet Underground, Steppenwolf to name a few.

    Add Bob Dylan also.

Finally Cricsim has decided to make Fiery fit right in. Its about time we gave him something where he could discuss his knowledge.
