It wasn't exactly shit positioning by Slater. Tigers had a backline move to the right, Slater was there covering it. A quick offload and cut-out pass, you can't expect him to get back to the other side.
He didn't even attempt to move back when the Tigers shifted it back to the left. When Tedesco put it down he was pretty much only at the sticks.
Should have been a no try to Marshall earlier. He was off side, reddy knocked on then the last pass was forward.
Poor teddy, Lawrence made him look bad in defence on a couple of occasions. He's a much better fullback.
