    You averaged almost 20, it's decent enough.

    The bowlers dominated though. You'd have to leave Rocker or Green out if you wanted another batsman, and they both took 150+ wickets at less than 20!

    If Dempsey strolled out at eight you'd be asking "Do you really need all that batting" - and the batsman you'd add in would be someone like McGrath who averaged in the low 40s.

    I don't know what the depth of batting is like but if it is McGrath then maybe you're right. Farny managed to average 20 but we all no he's a rabbit, then the 3 that come after are all pretty much number 11s.
    Having the extra batsmen leaves you with 4 bowlers that average ~20 +Priddo and Gonzo if need be.
    Also means that you've got enough batting to cover any side that you'd come up against with Bedsey 8 and then a bloke averaging ~20 at nine.
