    Would get caught out a **** load on the line... reckon the positioning is a lot harder than people give credit for. Teams would also bomb the shit out of him... I just reckon the safe option is to just put Anasta at lock.

    Pearce has a gun long kicking game was just hammered on the back of a shit forward pack... always tried for too much but when it was on song and he played within himself I though we had some of our best performances.

    FFS this ****ing shits me. Just ****ing put Carney at 5/8th and be done with it. Don't be a ****ing dickhead like Fittler was with Anasta and train him in a different position and then 1 week before round 1 decide that he will play 5/8th. I agree with Gemmell, Anasta to lock and Carney to 5/8th is the ONLY option.

    FTR, Anasta's long kicking game is pretty terrible. His long kicking is just a massive ****ed up bomb.

    Nah it wasn't a rumour. I am pretty sure he is flying down later this week to confirm it or he is here now. There were problems because Catalans didn't want to release him.

    Nah Mase will be back in two weeks to talk to Brian Smith about his decision.

    The Roosters First Grade squad were split up into different groups for pre-season training and Mason appeared in none of them so I'm not sure whether that's a sign or not...

    I hope Mase stays. I just can;t shake the feeling that he will return as the player he can be this year. When he wants to be, Mase is the best running 2nd rower in the game.
