I know it's a bit rough to say with Doug being a total hero for you in CWPL, but man he make your first XI so much worse. Team lacks a genuine allrounder so bad. Trade your soul for CDG or someone Imo.
doug is exactly the sort of bloke who will andre adams-lite this competition. crap asian and county batsmen served up for him to bowl wicket to wicket heavy balls and high school bully standard bouncers? yes please. he's not there to get steve smith out, that's what wagner is for.
You need to find the blokes with the worst attacks and sell them Bird for a hot price. You’ve got McEwan h4x and probably weren’t starting Bird anyway.

happy with that team. a few screwings over by losing guys in the round i was going to nab them, usually to chewie, but that's some excellent squad depth. the first xi is strong, and while 4 bowlers plus bruce's offies is a small risk it's an attack that would dominate domestic competitions world wide in real life and this competition will be somewhere around A level or even down to plunket shield/sheffield shield/county division 1 level. the batting lacks a superstar but it doesn't need one because it's consistent test match and A level all the way through. bird and mcewan would start for many sides, tickner lights up trees (sic) for central these days and is established in new zealand A, and both my reserve batsmen are very experienced, solid batsmen. nofal is useful in a given role, which will be trolling on turning surfaces.
